I've made a decision

Up until now I've only been playing around and making a few models, but I'm wasting my time this way. I need to advance my modelling skills so when I get into a tech school I wont have to worry about keeping up. I want to be one of the best, but I'm not going to do that by creating a weapon from time to time.

I'm going to get through the rest of the modelling chapters in my book. Then I'm going to go through the animation chapters as well. After that I'll start drawing out a few characters and I'll pick out the best to start making models of them.

I have an amazing idea for an animation and I'm not going to wait years to do it when I can do it after a month of study.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that soon my posts are going to get more advanced. However I wont have any advanced rendering in my posts until after christmas. I still have'nt gotten the learning maya rendering book. I'm also going to get the special effects book. That will be very helpful, because I've got this gut feeling that I'm going to be very good at particle effects. I'm not sure why, but whenever I get this feeling I know its going to turn out good.
